Why This Residents’ Association is Independent and Necessary

The Chalkwell Lodge Residents’ Association (CLRA) is a separate and independent initiative created to provide a platform for all leaseholders to voice their concerns, ideas, and suggestions. Unlike the current committee, which operates with limited input from the wider community, the CLRA is dedicated to ensuring every resident has a say in the decisions that affect our homes and finances.

Why Was the CLRA Formed?

Over the years, many residents have expressed frustration with the lack of transparency, accountability, and communication regarding key decisions—such as maintenance projects, rising service charges, and significant refurbishments. Despite efforts to engage with the current management structure, it has become clear that an alternative approach is needed to truly represent the interests of all leaseholders.
